Welcome to the Global ESG Leadership Organization. Based in London, UK, we are a registered non-governmental organization committed to legal integrity and regulatory compliance, with a core mission to build a global ecosystem of ethical business leadership.
Since 2024, Global ESG Leadership Organization has been asignatory to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI)and, as of 2025, an officialparticipant in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). As one of the few non-profit organizations globally affiliated with both frameworks, this recognition reflects the organization's strong commitment to responsible governance, cross-sector collaboration, and alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Our team members proudly hold the prestigious CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) ESG Certification, underscoring their specialized expertise in sustainable finance. In addition, our members are affiliated with esteemed international organizations such as the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, GRI, and SASB, granting them unparalleled insight into the world’s most pressing economic and sustainability challenges.
At this moment, we have grown into a community of 6,000 digital members supported by a global advisory team of 350 professionals, reflecting the depth, breadth, and international reach of our collective impact.

Ambassador George Hara is an archaeologist, technology entrepreneur, and internationally renowned venture capitalist.
He served as Special Advisor to Japan’s Cabinet Office and as Intergovernmental Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United Nations.
As founder of DEFTA Partners, he helped build numerous globally successful technology companies.
Ambassador Hara’s Public Interest Capitalism, which has influenced policy and practice across Japan and Asia, stands as a defining compass for our organization — affirming that the wellbeing of society is the foremost priority in sustainable development.
Enio Jaco is a seasoned governance architect and ESG leader with 20+ years across the Western Balkans, the U.S., and Central Asia. As former President of AmCham Albania, he strengthened national-level governance frameworks.
He now supports us in building a globally benchmarked governance model, enhancing our structures and institutional foundations, while bringing deep experience advising the EU, USAID, the World Bank, and the EBRD on private-sector growth.
Terry Thornton is a pioneering global leader in ESG education, EdTech, AI, and digital learning, whose work has shaped next-generation sustainability learning across more than 65 countries.
Through transformative platforms at MSCI, Moody’s, CFA and UN PRI, he has redefined how professionals worldwide understand responsible investment and ESG impact.
Terry will also work with us to build a forward-looking and globally relevant education architecture, strengthening the learning ecosystems needed for the future.
Chienie Tsai is a former Asia-Pacific Vice President in global listed companies, a serial entrepreneur, and a mentor to several Asian government-backed tech startup offices and women’s innovation communities. She has contributed to youth assemblies, the World Peace Forum, and TEDx Youth.
Through regular meditation and volunteer service, she has learned to serve selflessly, shaping a leadership approach rooted in humility, purpose, and collective wellbeing.
